This interior design project focused on a flat within a converted Victorian house, where the aim was to elevate the existing space without altering the layout. Embracing a mid-century modern vibe, the design honours clean lines, thoughtful detailing, and a warm, lived-in aesthetic that feels both curated and deeply personal.

Bespoke joinery played a central role, particularly in the living room, where beautifully crafted units were designed on either side of the fireplace. A refined mix of metal and wood added depth and texture, subtly referencing the mid-century influence while seamlessly integrating into the period fabric of the building.

Sustainability was a key consideration throughout. We sourced a number of vintage and pre-loved furniture pieces, giving them new life and reducing the project’s environmental impact. Family heirlooms were thoughtfully incorporated into the scheme, grounding the space in personal history and giving the interiors a uniquely intimate quality.

The project was completed with a curated art collection, selected specifically for the space, adding richness and layers of meaning. The result is a warm, characterful home that balances design integrity with emotional resonance — a space that tells the story of the people who live in it.
